BEEKEEPERS' FIELD DAY

The field day held by the National Beekeepers' Association on the proiperty of Mr. L. Nairn, Takakapu Road, Johnsonville, was most delightful and instructive. The president, Mr. J. M. | Bodmin, gave a demonstration of in.troducing a new queen into a hive, and j later all the operations ih the extraction of honey. A moving picture of this operation was taken by one of the members and will be shown at* a future night meeting. Mr. R. G. Wait showed the correct way to go through a hive. The ladies provided refreshments to some sixty members and friends^ ' ' .
