PROSPECTING CEASES
Gold prospecting operations under the Government mining subsidy scheme, in the Lyell district, have ceased, and the men engaged there have secured employment on development work at the Perseverance Mine at Murray Creek, near Reefton, where it is understood good ore is showing.
