BODY FOUND

The body of Elwyn John Adams, a married man, aged 31, was found at 17 the Esplanade, Petone, at 7.40 a.m. today with his head in a gas oven.

At 8 o'clock tliis morning the Fire Brigade received a call to 172 Sydney Street West, a wooden house of three rooms. The fire, which was confined to the kitchen, was caused through an electric radiator setting fire to some curtains.
