WELLINGTON AREA
Yesterday there were 23 enlistments from the Wellington and Hutt Valley area for service with the N.Z.E.F., bringing the total number of enlistments so far this month to 250 and since recruiting began to 3844. Of those so far medically examined, 2393 have been classed as fit, 36b temporarily unfit, and 492 permanently unfit. The number so far sent to camp from the area is 2014.
