KING'S INVESTITURE

LONDON, February 6.

His Majesty's first investiture since the outbreak of war took place at Buckingham Palace where he decorated eleven men with the D.5.0., four with the. Military Cross, eight with the D.F.C., and thirty-one with the D.S.C. Among the last-mentioned were thirteen skippers in the Naval Reserve.

The King's medal was handed to a number of policeman, including three who have risked their lives in connection with the I.R.A. outrages.
