SUPREME COUNCIL MEETS

PARIS, February 5.

A meeting of the Allied Supreme War Council was held today and was attended by the French members MM. Daladier (Premier), Campinchi (Navy), La Chambre (Air), and the British members, Mr. Chamberlain (Prime Minister), Lord Halifax (Foreign Affairs), Mr. Churchill (Navy), Mr. Stanley (War Secretary), and Sir Kingsley Wood (Air) together with naval, military, and air officers. The council examined every aspect of the various factors ol the. present situation as they affect the general conduct of the war, in the spirit of close co-operation which inspires the actions of the two Governments with the object of still greater efficacy in the FrancoBritish collaboration.

The council paid special attention to questions of supply, and reached complete agreement on all points.
