TRAM SERVICES

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—l think it is about time the Seatoun people started grumbling about their tram service. The other night I was delayed by traffic at James Smith's corner and missed my usual tram at 4.55 p.m. I waited for another at 5 p.m., and was" curtly informed that the tram was overcrowded. The next tram arrived about 5.15 p.m., and I had the pleasure of standing all the way to Seatouh terminus. I am not the only one this happened to; in fact, it is almost a nightly occurrence.

Why do the tramways not give us extra trams Inow that Strathmore Park is thickly populated, not mentioning the Government houses all fully occupied? /Why not .a three-minute service between 5 and 6 p.m., or else have the Seatoun trams carrying the Seatoun people only? Another way to solve this difficulty would be to ask the passengers bound for the Exhibition to travel on the special trams provided for them.—l am 4 etc., ' TIRED OF STANDING.
