BADLY BURNED

PETROL AS CLEANER

When Mrs. R. J. Wiles, of Roseneath Flats, Maida Vale Road, was cleaning clothes with petrol in her kitchen at about 11.15 a.m. today, flames from a gas-ring ignited the fumes, and the kitchen was soon on fire. Mrs. Wiles suffered shock and burns to her. legs and amis, and was taken to a,private hospital ,by the Free Ambulance. The. Fire Brigade was calledi to deal with the outbreak, and ; extinguished the flames after slight damage had been done to the kitchen and contents.
