ATTEMPTED MURDER ALLEGED

WANGANUI, This Day.
As a sequel to a stabbing affray in| a house at Gonville on December 31, Wiripo Tiopira Potaka, aged 30, was charged in the Magistrate's Court to-J day with attempting to.murder Haku Wainhouse, a Maori woman, married,, aged 18. The accused pleaded not guilty and was .committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was refused.
