RECENT PROMOTIONS
The following recent promotions are shown in routine orders at the Central District Mobilisation Camp, Trentham: Camp Band—Bandsmen S. Thomson and W. Smith to be sergeants; Bandsman F. Lloyd to be corporal; Bandsman T. D. RowelLto be lance-corporal. Private J. K. Brough is appointed lance-coi"poral in charge of .officers' mess waiters.
Private J. Boyd, N.Z.M.C., to be sergeant.
The troops in camp have been notified that men in Wellington on weekend leave may obtain accommodation in private homes through the Tourist Department. All homes available for this purpose have been inspected and the cost will range from 45,6 dto 10s 6d.
* A camp entertainment committee is in process of formation.
