FUEL SUPPLY FAULT
BLAMED FOR CRASH
THREE BODIES RECOVERED
(Received January 23,12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY; This Day. A serious fault suddenly developing ir the--fuel supply system is believed to have caused the crash of the Dutch airliner. The sole survivor managed to climb out on to the wing, where he was found clinging by rescuers, who set out in flative canoes as soon as the plane crashed.- He is still too ill to tell anything of what happened to the aeroplane. ■ ; ;
The bodies Qf only three of the victims, including those of Captain Schott and Mrs. Mijnlieff, wife of Mr. J. M. Mijnlieff, Australian representative of Dutch Airlines, have been recovered. Some of the mail floated clear from the wreckage and may be salvaged.
