BIG TURNOVER INCREASE

One of the largest crowds that have ever assembled on the Trentham racecourse, if not the largest, .witnessed the opening day of the Wellington Racing Club's , Summer Meeting, which was held in perfect weather yesterday Long before the racing began all the parking space in the enclosures on the course was occupied, race books were soon sold out, and even the totalisator ran out of ticket paper during the betting on the Cup.
