BROADCASTING OF CRICKET
(By Telegraph—l Jresa Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. The Otago Cricket Association decided to support the-northern association in the effort to obtain payment for the privilege of broadcasting Plunket Shield, matches. Mr. Martin, manager of the recent touring team, said that Professor Shelley was favourable to some payment being made to the associations. It was only a matter of obtaining the approval of the Minister. Football matches, wrestling bouts, and boxing contests were broadcast; cricket was the best game of the lot. -
