Such good progress was made In the National Junior Championships at Miramar yesterday] that ,the manager of the tournament. Mr. 8., McL. Ferltins, .expressed himself as hopeful! that the tournament would conclude today instead of extending over the scheduled four days. In all, 66 matches were played yesterday, . the\ first rounds- of boys', girls', and mixed doubles and the second round of boys' and girls' singles being completed. Results were:— Girls' Singles.
