COMMERCIAL BANKING CO.
The directors of the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney, Limited, will submit to shareholders proposals to amend the articles of association of the company. They explain that the articles were adopted in 1893, ; and since that time no* only have the business activities of the bank expanded considerably, but also many changes have taken place in the law relating to the company. Consequently, they feel that the present articles are ' in many ways out of date. It is also, proposed to increase the , number of directors from five to six.
