UNIVERSITY CLUB
The annual meeting of the Victoria University College Swimming and Lifesaving Club was held recently. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron. Mr. A. F. Naylor; president, Dr. N. A. Foden; vice-presidents, Messrs. F. Wilton* P. Coira, W. Gerrie, F. Empson, R. Diedrich, C. Watson, R. C. Bradshaw, H. R. C. Wild, T. E. Ennis, M. Mason, and Professor B. E.Murphy; secretary-treasurer; Miss S. Hefford; club captain, Mr. R. I. "Johnstone; deputy club captain, Mr. F. D. O'Flynn; woman's club captain, Miss J. Maysmor; committee, Miss N. Spiers, Messrs. A. J. Hirgill, N. H. Ryan, and R. Shannon; polo comptroller, Mr. R. L.. Meek.
