Mrs. W. Bullock, The Terrace, is visiting Masterton.

Miss Margaret Stenhouse. B.D S., who returned recently from London, where she has been continuing her dental work over the past three years, is staying with Dr. Margaret Hill, Upper Willis Street, for a few days before returning to Christchurch.

Mrs. C. J. Wagstaff, president of the Wanganui Townswomen's Guild, who has been spending a short holiday at Silverstream as the guest of Mrs. J. W. Chapman-Taylor, returned to Wanganui by car on Monday. ■

Mrs. George Wilson, Remuera, Auckland, is a visitor to Wellington.

Mrs. Alexander Aitken, Havelock North, is visiting Wellington for the .Centennial Exhibition and staying at the Exhibition Hotel, Kilbirnie.

Mrs. E. Hammond, Fendalton, is visiting Wellington.

Miss Janet Crompton, Te Puna, Havelock North, who has been in London for the last four years and a half studying for .her L.R.A.M.. has returned to New Zealand. Miss Crompton received tuition from Madame Rosina Buckman, a New Zealand woman who has earned a high reputation in musical circles overseas.

Mrs. R. Caughley, Wellington, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Alfred Evans, Merivale, Christchurch.

Mrs.L. Cave, New Plymouth, has returned home after a visit to the Centennial Exhibition.

Miss Rona Trent arrived this morning from Christchurch to spend a short holiday at Wellington.. She will return home at the end of the week accompanied by her sister.. Mrs. L. Sherriff, Gisborne.

Mrs. A. G. Fogerty, .Mount Eden. Auckland, arrived at Wellington today to visit her daughter, Mrs. Kelvin Hunter.

Miss" Eleanor M. Couston. who returned at the beginning of the week from a four months' visit to the United States and Canada; will leave Wellington tonight by the steamer express for Christchurch. During her travels Miss Couston attended a conference of 700 dietitians in California and later travelled extensively around New York, the Eastern States, and Canada, visiting over thirty hospitals to study the progress of dietetics.

Mrs. G. A. Dawson (Opotiki) and Mrs. H. Mills (New Plymouth) are staying at the Empire Hotel.

Guests at the Hotel St. George include Mrs. J. Budge, Mrs, J Marsden (Auckland), and Mrs. H. Yates (London).
