NEW YORK, November 17.
A message from South Bend, Indiana, states that a Federal jury convicted the General Motors Corporation and three subsidiary companies of violating the Anti-Trust Act. It acquitted officials, including the chairman, Mr. Alfred P. Sloan, and the president, Mr. William S. Knudsen.
The Judge imposed a fine of 20,000 dollars and costs.
