Stout, S.M., charged with being deemed to be a rogue and vagabond in that he was
found by night, without lawful ex-
cuse, in the enclosed yard of Dominion Motors assembly factory in Thorndon Quay. Sub-Inspector Dempsey said 'thatXa constable saw Larsen climb bvejr the gate after making two or
three unsuccessful attempts to do so. When questioned, Larsen said, "I _ wanted to get shelter from the rain." The Magistrate imposed a sentence of three months' imprisonment with hard labour. *
