F. SHEAN GETS TWO MONTHS
(By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright.) (Received October 31, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The stewards of the Moonee. Valley Racing Club today concluded an inquiry into Beau Vitc's fall on Saturday and suspended Gold Salute's rider, F. Shean, for two months for crossing. This will necessitate new, riders for Gold Salute in the Derby and Catalogue in the Melbourne Cup. W. Cook will be out of the saddle for a few days, but. he will be all right to ride Beau Vite in the Derby and Melbourne Cup. M. McCarten will probably ride Feminist in the . Melbourne Cup. . Leif broke down in the Moonee Valley Cup and may miss the remaining spring engagements. Frill Prince was also lame after the race, but recovered at the weekend, and is expected to run in the Melbourne Cup. Trainer T. R. George .does not anticipate any ill effects from Beau Vite's fall in the W. S. Cox Plate. He considers the colt would have won on Saturday barring the accident. His opinion is shared by good judges, who expect Beau Vite to make a bold bid in the Derby.
