WAR RELIEF ASSOCIATION

Disbursement of £95 11s 3d for sustenance and £61 12s 7d in special grants by the War Relief Association of Wellington from October 2 to date was disclosed in the emergency committee's report to the monthly meeting of the executive today. It was,stated that during the period 65 claims had been dealt with and 20 claims were still under action. Eighteen cases were .dealt with on behalf of other societies. During the period 87 persons called at the office. The total available funds as at September 30 amounted to £11.864 5s 3d.
