RETAINER FOR T. GREEN
(Special to the "Evening Past."} TAKANINI, This Day. The well-known rider T. W. Green has accepted a retainer to ride for J. H. Jefferd's Ngatarawa stable during the remainder of the current season. Green left for Hastings on Tuesday. I Jefferd's stable looks to have a very promising season ahead, among the horses sheltered there being Indian Sun, Areas, Rakahanga, Baran, and the two-year-olds Indore, Blandisher, and Khurja. Green's services have been in demand since his return to the saddle, and he now has his opportunity with this retainer.
