EMPHATIC DENIAL
I (Received September 22, 2.10 p.m.) CHUNGKING, September 21. j Mr. Wang Chung-hui, Acting Presi- ' dent of the Executive, emphatically denied the rumours of peace. "China is not prepared to accept peace overtures which are not based on fair I terms for all countries in the Far East," he said. China would insist on the preservation of her integrity and the cessation of Japanese aggression, added Mr. Wang.
