ORARI, September 21. The Geraldine Racing Club's Spring Meeting opened at Orari today in fine weather, and there was a large attendance. The favourite division had a poor run and only two proved successful. Roy Bun scored a surprise success in winning the Geraldine Cup,- while the second "leg," the Squatters' Handicap, was annexed by Gay Parade. During the day the totalisator handled £7873 10s as against £9400 10s last year, a decrease of £1527.
