RHODODENDRON DELL
The convener of the Kelburr branch of the Wellington Beautifying Society reports that the rhododendron dell promises to look well in. the coming season. About 100 native shrubs have been planted for future shelter and some spring-flowering shrubs have been added. A receptacle for refuse has been placed at the top of the steps, and it will be much appreciated if residents will place in it paper and other litter which often disfigures the dell. Donations are acknowledged from Mrs. A. D. Carson (memorial tree). Mr. and Mrs. J. Pears (£1), and Mrs. Haines (£2 2s). Regret is exj Dressed at the death of Dr. Kidson and' i Mr. A. D. Carson, both staunch aupi porters of the dell.
