OTAGO UNION SUGGESTS

ABANDONMENT

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

DUNEDIN, September 12,

At Monday night's meeting of the Otago Rugby Union the question of All Black trial matches came up for decision and, in view of the present situation, it was decided to send a telegram to the New Zealand Union suggesting that, as there Avas very little likelihood of the tour of South Africa eventuating, the trials should be abandoned.
