STAY OF PROCEEDINGS

At the direction of the Solicitor-Gen-eral, Mr. H. H. Cornish, K.C., a stay of proceedings was entered today in the case in which William George Collie was charged with breaking and entering by day a dwelling-house in Home Street, Wellington, with intent to commit a crime. Collie stood his trial on the charge in the Supreme Court twice last month, and each time the jury failed to agree. Mr. M. Neal appeared for him.
