PRICE OF SUGAR
A FURTHER REDUCTION
The Colonial Sugar Refining Company, Ltd., notifies as from today, August 15, a further reduction of 10s per ton in the prices of all grades of sugars, including tablets, icing sugar, coffee crystals, golden syrup, and treacle. Price movements in the local sugar market this year may be seen in the quotations of the Colonial Sugar Refining Company for No. 1A grade, that generally used for domestic purposes:
Other forms of sugar quoted by the company have shown identical price movements on the dates shown above as for No. 1A sugar.
