POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANK.
Deposits with the Post Office Savings Bank during June totalled £2,363,406, an increase of £26,923 above the May figure. The Government Statistician points out that the amount of withdrawals was considerably less than in the previous month, the June total being £2,847,796, as compared with £3,741,884 in May. "The excess of withdrawals over deposits, which, has been in evidence for many months past, still continues, the June excess being* £484,390." . ■-
