Details of a ser\ice rendered by t."ie Wellington branch of the National Blood Transfusion Service from April 1 to date are contained in a report prepared by the secretary (Mr. C. Meachen). During the period 128 donors were called on on behalf of 55 male and 71 female patients. Eleven members were called on between the hours of 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. j The reports stated that a branch of the service had been established at Dannevirke with Mr. J. A. Nordwell as hon. secretary and that there was a likelihood in the near future of membership reaching a total of 20. '
