Another highly profitable year's operations are revealed in the balancesheet to be presented at the annual meeting of members of the Auckland Racing Club on Monday week. The balance transferred to capital account is £18,733. The value of the club's properties is listed as £117»354, and further assets in cash, Government loan, and sundry debtors total £51,000. The statement of race-meeting accounts shows that stakes totalled £58,550, officials, gatemen, and bands absorbed £7631, amusement tax £2515, stakes tax £584, and Remount Encouragement Fund £431, Nomination and acceptance fees were £9499, books and privileges £39,924, and net totalisator revenue £65,807*
