Alexander Mines gold return for July is as follows: —Batlery department. 325 tons of ore crushed for 124 oz 16dwt of melted gold; cyanide department, 220 tons Qf sands treated for 30oz 19dwt of bullion. Total estimated value, £1104. In addition, 7.5 tons of concentrates were saved, valued at £280. In estimating the above values, gold has been taken at 150s per fine ounce.
