SYLVIA MINES.
Sylvia Mine, Tararu, Thames, reports: Shaft sinking operations now under way. cut being Bft below level. Collar set has been placed in > position and the leading set is now being put in. The sets will then be slabbed and a start on excavation of chamber will be commenced this week. Country rock most favourable for sinking. Everything working smoothly and no difficulties anticipated.
