PAHIATUA POINT-TO-POINT

The annual point-to-point of the Pahiatua branch of the Dannevhrke Hunt Club, held on the Pahiatua racecourse, was a very successful gathering. The officials were:—Starter, Mr. B. Anderson; clerk of course, Mr. F. Selby; timekeepei', Mr. F. E. Ward. In the Owners' Point-to-Point, Mr. G. Mattson broke a collarbone when his mount. Spearson, fell. Results included:— Owners' Point-to-Point Steeplechase (owners up); about 2$ miles.—Barney (Mr. S. Taylor), 1; Oete (Mr. L. Olsen), 2; Trooper (Mr. Duncan Holden)*; 3. Also started: Rangi. Spearson.
