An accident involving sightseers going to CastleclifJ to see Jhe stranded

Port Bowen occurred about midday, * small car running off the road and hitting a telegraph pole. Mr. B. Lr. Spurdle the driver, was cut by flying glass and was taken to the Wanganui Public Hospital. His condition is not serious. Mrs. Spurdle, who was also in the front seat, received minor cuts and bruises. The other occupants escaped with a shaking.
