WEDDING

HUNT—OLIVER

The wedding was celebrated recently in tne.Kent Terrace Presbyterian Church of Thelma Joyce, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Oliver, Wellington, to Vaya, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Hunt, Kilbirnie. The Rev. Mr. Fell performed the ceremony.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a smart grey tailored costume with hat to tone, and a shoulder spray of orchids. The bridesmaid, Miss Beryl Oliver, youngest sister of the bride, wore a black tailored costume with a shoulder spray of orchids and begonia.

The best man was Mr. L. R. Hunt, brother of the bridegroom. ■

A reception was held at the Royal Oak Hotel, where friends of the bride and bridegroom were entertained. The bride's mother, assisted by the bridegroom's mother, received the guests. Later in the evening Mr. and Mrs. V. Hunt left for the north.
