ART UNION DRAWN

FIRST PRIZE TO CHRISTCHURCH

The first prize of £2000 in the "My Lucky Chance" art union, drawn yesterday, was won by a Christchurch ticket under the norn de plume of "Two Drunkards." Wellington fared better than usual and succeeded in winning three of the major prizes. The remaining three major prizes were divided between Christchurch and Runciman, Auckland. At the drawing Mr. J. W. Hutchen represented the Internal Affairs Department, and Sergeant G. S. Norris the police.
