MATCH WITH AUCKIAND
To represent , Wellington ' against Auckland in the Association" football match for the F.A, Trophy at'-Auekland on Saturday week, the following team has been chosen by Messi's. .A. J, Costelloe. M H. Webley, and W. J. Hodgii, selectors for the Wellington Football .Association:— Goalkeeper: P. Turkingtoo (Marist), Full-backs: W. Salisbury (Swifts) and S. Haines (Petone),-eaptainv Halves: A. Gates (Technical Old Boys), R. Boyes (.Seatoun), C. MacGregor (Swifts). Forwards: N. Edmunds' (Seatoun), R, Quirke (Marist), A, Leslie (Petone), W. Woods (Petone), and J. Hickmott (Swifts). Reserve: A. Longbottom (Waterside) D. Craig and R. Reid, both Petone players, who were among the twentytwo selected to train for tho game, notified the selectors that they would be unable to travel to Auckland. The team is to assemble at the Kilbirnie Stadium at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning, and every member is required. The players will train at the Boys' Institute gymnasium on Monday and Tuesday nights next week.
