BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
VISIT TO SPAIN IN VIEW

PARIS, June 23.
In order to celebrate the Duke of Windsor's forty-fifth birthday and the fiftieth anniversary of the erection of the Eiffel Tower, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor were given a dinner on one of the platforms of the tower. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor otherwise limited the celebration to telephone conversations with the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Windsor were the guests of the German Embassy on the eve of the Duke's birthday. It is understood that they will visit Spain in the middle of July.
