SPEEDY SWIFTS

TO PLAY WATERSIDE

At the Basin Reserve tomorrow Swifts and Waterside will provide the main Soccer attraction. Swifts, the newcomers to the senior A division, are playing very fast and attractive football and their supporters are confident that they will extend the experienced Waterside team. On the other hand. Waterside, after their defeat at the hands of Petone last week, cannot afford to suffer another defeat, and will therefore go all out to rehabilitate- themselves in the eyes of football patrons. On No. 2 ground, Diamond, who have drawn both their opening engagements, will try conclusions with the undefeated Seatoun side. Diamond are showing surprisingly good form this season, so •that followers of these two teams should be assured of a good exhibition of football. These games will be preceded by curtain-raisers at 1.15 p.m.
