PASSENGER KILLED
DRIVER SEjRIOUSLY HURT
ACCIDENT m CANTERBURY

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
Fatal internal: injuries were received by Clarence Amos, aged about 22 years, a farm labourer, Kaituna, when a car in which he wtas travelling as a passenger, left theiroad and somersaulted, landing on its "hood, at Birdlings' Flat, about 3.20 a.m.. today. Amos was later admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where he died at 6.25 a.m.
The driver of the car, Ronald Turner, railway surfaceman, of Ataahua, received injuries to his chest, and his condition in reported from the hospital as being serious.
