CYCLIST BADLY HURT

GREYMOUTH, March 28

! Severe head and chest injuries were received by a cyclist, Thomas Dennehy, aged 17, twin son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Dennehy, Tainui Street, when he struck the side of a motor-car driven by Roland Hopkinson, at the foot of an incline at the junction of Alexander and Murray Streets, late this afternoon.

The collision was very severe, the car being badly damaged. The injured youth was tak"en to hospital, where his condition tonight was reported to be critical.
