ACTIVITIES CURTAILED

(Received March 25, 9.30 a.m.)

BUDAPEST, March 24,

The Chamber of Deputies adopted an Anti-Jewish Bill which curtails Jewish business and reduces the proportion of Jews which' may be employed in trade and industry from 20 per cent, to between 6 and 12 per cent. It also makes it practically impossible for middle-class and poor-class Jews to earn a livelihood.

M. Derer and M. Marcovicz, formerly members of the Czech Cabinet, are reported to have been arrested by the secret police.
