TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

| MEETING OF MOTORCYCLISTS The rate of traffic accidents, especially the number of motor-cycle accidents, is causing the Minister of Transport (the Hon. R. Semple) concern. The Road Safety Council at its next meeting will consider' suggestions for effecting an improvement in the accident rate among motor-cyclists, to which end a number of proposals have been put forward by local bodies and motor-cycle dealers and clubs throughout the country. .' Wellington motor-cyclists will have an opportunity of discussing these proposals and of suggesting means of reducing the accident rate at a meeting to be held in the No. 2 committee room in the Wellington Town Hall at 5.30 p,m. tomorrow. All motor-cyclists are invited to be present.
