The following athletes have been selected by Father T. Cleary and Mr. A. C. Kitto to > represent Wellington at the junior and women's amateur athletic championships at Auckland on March 25;— Junior. 100yds.—J. D. A'Court (Kiwi) and P. Galalgher (Old Boys). 220yds.—Jr D. A'Court, J. Tracey (Wellington). 880yds.—G. RoWberry (Wellington), P. Anderson (St. Patrick's College). One Mile.—P. Anderson (St. Patrick's College), G. Rowberry (Wellington). • Quarter-mile.—J. Tracey (Wellington), P. Gallagher (C.0.8.). Broad Jump.—P. Gallagher (C.0.8.), S. W. Sandle (C.0.8.). High Jump.—S. W. Sandle (C.0.8.). Shot.~E. P. Flaws (Wellington College) and J. D. A'Court. Javelin and Discus. —E. P. Flaws (Wellington College). Women. 75yds, 100 yds, and 220yds.—J. Crampton (Petone), J. McGrath (Wellington). Broad Jump, Javelin. Discus, and Shot.—J. Lark (Wellington). Javelin, Discus, and Shot. —M. Mahoney (Kiwi). . ' Father Cleary will accompany the team as manager, and Mrs. A. D. Rowse will act as chaperon. W. Russell, Wairarapa, who won the hope, step, and jump title at the recent provincial championship meeting, was to have been in the team, but this event has not been included in the programme. Any members of the team unable to make the trip should advice Mr. A. C. Kitto immediately. All members of the team are requested.to attend training at Hataitai Park tonight and on Thursday night at 5.30 o'clock. The Wellington Athletic Centre will give a farewell to Mr. A. L. Fitch, the official coach, at the Grand Hotel at 3.15 p.m. tomorrow.
