- Professor J. Stone, the new Dean of the Faculty of Law at Auckland University College, and Mrs. Stone, have arrived at Auckland by the Rangitata from England. Miss Amy Kane, who is visiting Rotorua, will not return to Wellington before the end of the month. Miss Patricia Gilmer returned to Wellington on Sunday after nine months' absence abroad. She is staying with her sister, Mrs. Peter Richardson Grant, Melling. Mrs. John Fletcher. Wellington, has returned from New Plymouth, where she was the guest of Mrs. R. J. Rutherford. Christchurch passengers from Wellington by the Wanganella tomorrow will include Mrs." George Hamner, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Morgan, Mrs. T. C. Faville, and Miss Rona Faville. Mrs. David Coutts and Mrs. Harold Oakes *eft Wellington last night to spend a holiday in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. J. Loughnan, Lower Hutt, are visiting Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. A. Longmore, Oriental Bay, left for the south last night for a fortnight's visit to Christchurch and Invercargill. Miss Mary Simm, Karori, is spending a holiday in Hawke's Bay. The Hon. Mrs. E. Molesworth, J.P., Auckland, has been the guest of her brother, Mr. G. W. Banks, Lowry Bay, for a few days. Mrs. Molesworth left on Monday to attend the annual conference of the Justices of the Peace Association at Timaru. Miss Molly Foster, Gisborne, is visiting Wellington for the Davies —Jackson wedding, which will take place on Easter Monday. Miss Foster is the guest of Miss Hermione Jackson, Lower Hutt. Mrs. Eric Loisel, who has been visiting Hawke's Bay and Wellington, has 'returned to Tolaga Bay. Mrs. and Miss Harle, Feilding, are among the guests at the Hotel St. George. - Mrs. E. Giesen, Wellington, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. V. Jervis, Gisborne. Mrs. L. Nodder and Mrs. Foster (Inglewood), Mrs. D. Hall (Whangarei), Mrs. J. Kemp (Melbourne), and Miss J. Kemp (Palmerston North) are staying at the Empire Hotel.
