Mr. L. D'Elboux, the first manager; of the Alliance Assurance Company, will retire in October after 42 years' service, states "The Post's" Londoncorrespondent. He was to be relieved of duty as fire manager at the end of last month in order to make a tour of the company's branches in Australia and New Zealand, leaving England towards the end of the present month.
