LONDON, February 7. "A .collection of excellent; lambs" was the of the. three judges who selected the .winners of the North. Island ,larftb competition atSmithfield last week at the request of the Imported Meat Trade Association. Feilding's was a good run, ; an.d the lambs were fleshy and well .proportioned. They were good butchers' meat and slightly superiorVtb Waikato'g, who entered, a weli-selected , group, with well built up carcasses arid':a|minimum of waste: fat>; Waikator: entered three perfect lambs, and;oS;so-high a standard that this district was awarded the prize for the best pen. Feilding came second and Wairarapa third itt this competition.
