UNDERWRITERS LEFT WITH £3,700,000
(Received February 23, 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Federal Treasurer (Mr. R. G. Casey) announced that £4,800,000 had been subscribed for the Commonwealth £8,500,000 works loan, leaving £3,700,000 with the underwriters.
