PRICES EASIER
LONDON MEAT MARKET
The demand on the frozen lamb market in London is rather quiet for the time of the year, and prices are a shade easier, according to the weekly cable received by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. Lightweight wethers and ewes are unchanged, but prices of others are lower. Trade remains slow. Chilled beef is easier this week owing to poor trade. For New Zealand porker pigs light and medium weights are a shade lower. For baconers, the market, is steady and unchanged. Trade in boneless bobby veal is slow.
The board advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for represeni tative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday.
